I find this rather disturbing.  I know that not everyone likes Obama, but this is rather odd that no one checked these people’s invitations.  Looks like the people protecting the President might be getting ready to back off and let Obama get knocked off.  I find this an outrage, appalling even.  The secret service people who were suppose to be guarding these political figures including and especially our President should be triad on grounds of treason.   They didn’t know these people were suppose to be there or not.  They are either incompetent or they were intentionally trying to allow someone to get close enough to assassinate our President.

You might be curious why I would even consider such a topic.  I was curious how easy it was for people who have been hired for work to decieve the drug test.  Often times they will ask you if you would take a drug test and if you have anything against random drug tests.

I have never taken drugs, but I have never been tested at any of the jobs that employed me for drugs either, not randomly anyway.  Plus, I was always informed ahead of time that I was going to have one, so had I been a drug user of some form or fashion, I could have easily stopped using for whatever length of time that it would have been neccessary to allow it to pass through in order to pass the test.  It is just funnier for me knowing that all the places that I have worked for if they had a drug test at all, let you know ahead of time that you are going to be screened, making it so much easier if you are a dope head to prepare for it.  Why are we giving these guys a fighting chance to bring our facilities and work force down with this junk.  If they are on drugs they need help.  I’m not talking legal help either.  They are sick.  They are addicts, yet more people who use drugs see more of prison facilities then the medical attention they need to get them off the drugs in the first place.  What is wrong with this world?  Are we to busy with our own problems that we just don’t give a rats putatoodle about anyone but ourselves?  We don’t even want to help the economy anyomore.  We expect the government to do it for us.  They got us into it, let them get us out of it.  It was a wise President that said ask not what your country can do for you..Ask What You can do for your country.  We have no standards as a human race for helping each other anymore.  We are only out for what we can get.  It makes me sad and sick to my stomach to think that my kids might start spewing the same nonsense.  I sure pray that they do better than that.  I hope they managed to recieve better ideals and morals than that from me and their father.

This world is becoming a frightful place.  Let us all extend a hand this year to help someone get back on their feet, to learn how to read, to get mental help if they need it, or to fight an addiction.  Not everyone can make it through life without help.  If you were in their shoes, wouldn’t you want the help, despite the pride you may have to swallow?

Sometimes, we as a society make and create standards that are meant to be for the good of everyone.  Not always are these standards as good as the society believes it to be.  Sometimes these standards do irrevocable harm to individuals or groups that can never be taken back.

 The Native Americans were nearly wiped off the map of the world because the society that decided to live here decided that they were to savage and not needed.  It was believed by some that they were evil and should be destroyed were others got to know them, they learned from them and came to find out that we ourselves who call ourselves civilized are the true savages for the irrevocable harm and destruction we caused these noble and humble people who lived at peace and in harmony with nature because we refused to get to know them and understand them better.  We decided that our ways were better mostly because it was what we grew up with.

 People had slaves in their homes doing jobs that could have been done easily them-selves or by paid workers.  However, they didn’t want to pay them for work that they could have done for free.  No one at the time saw the evil in taking people from the homes that they had, away from families and villages that they knew and forcing them to working in povershed conditions with no money and very little food at times, like animals.  To tell the truth sometimes even the animals were treated better than the slaves were.

 We as people have been condemning others and committing great acts of evils for centuries as we pronounce wars upon our enemies in the name of all the heavens and in the name of God, Goddess, and more.  Always we blame the devil, the heavens, the earth and the stars for everyone else’s trouble when truly it is our own fault for the evil done to others.  I’ve heard people scream out aliens are trying to destroy the world so that they can take it over.  I seriously doubt that.  I can’t say that I don’t believe in aliens or intelligent life beyond our own, but really, I do not think that people from another planet want to destroy something like earth after coming so far to visit it.  Bunch of bunk if you ask me.

 If the earth were ever destroyed we would only have the so-called civilized human to blame.

 The civilized human has yet to recognize that there are more than two sexes amongst the modern human.  The modern human sees and recognizes the male and female genders, but will not recognize the hermaphrodite as another gender that walks amongst us, most likely because it frightens him and makes him aware of the fact that humans are still an animal even with all the human knowledge and advancements it has at its fingertips.  Sure the hermaphrodite normally are only able to produce offspring as a male or female, but no one can deny the fact that it is still double gendered due to the fact that it is born that way even if one of the two genders is dormant and unable to reproduce.  What might frighten humans more would be if at one point of history a hermaphrodite was born that were born with both working organs.  It hasn’t happened yet that we know of, and I’m certain that most humans have their fingers crossed that it never happens, because as some humans and even Christian humans have stated, “That is just Unnatural!”  Is it though?  If it were to happen then it would have been a force of nature that created it within the womb of the woman.  This would only mean that it was completely natural and meant to be because if you believe in God or even if you don’t, then you would have to admit despite our reasoning, The Divine or just nature itself has its own reasoning for things that we can’t quite understand.

 Also people slander the names of religious groups and organizations to make their own seem better and greater than the other groups.  It is a political power play that has gone on for centuries and eons.  It is horrid and sickening to the extent that they go as they call each other evil or stupid.  One person might believe in a being called God, another might believe that the creator is a Goddess, and a step further is where the group doesn’t believe in a Divine Being at all.  However each group has its pros and cons.  They all believe we exist for one.  They all seem to agree that we must have certain morals standards to uphold whether they call them commandments or laws shouldn’t really matter. The cons are that no one is willing to agree to disagree.  Everyone has to take offense that the other person is so stuck in their way and their ideals that they are unwilling to believe what the other guy has to say. Most of the stories are different that are told amongst the pagans and Christians but the funny thing is, from what I have noticed is that they still teach the same ethical values that the other group seems to want instilled in their youth.  Is it so horrible that we all grew up with different stories, with different ideals? 

 “I’m so sorry that your prophet/teacher/Buddha didn’t grow up in the same area that my prophet/teacher/Buddha did.  Your prophet/teacher/Buddha still had many great things to teach, and I am I certain that I would have liked to have learned them and still could with your help. We could share and combine our knowledge and teachings.  Maybe you would like to learn about the teachers of my area.” should be our response instead of feuding the way we do.  Why don’t we learn about each other’s ideals and the similarities they both share and have? Are we so scared that someone else may actually have more knowledge than us?  Does the other person’s teachings have something in it that actually makes you cringe at your own evils that you have done?  Did it relate more than you were willing to acknowledge?  Or maybe you didn’t understand what they were teaching and couldn’t get any comprehension from it because it didn’t go exactly right with your own.  If this is the problem then why can’t you move on to the things that you can relate to and understand?  We don’t have to fully agree on every little detail.  If everyone thought and liked the exactly same thing this world would be very boring and not worth living in as far as I am concerned.  I wouldn’t want to see everyone dressed in the exactly same uniformed outfit for some reason.  I would feel like without any right to my own thoughts.  Not everyone is cut out to be a musician.  Not everyone is cut out to be a tailor.  Not everyone has the patience to sew by hand or to cook from scratch.  Not everyone is going to raise his or her kids the same way.  Not everyone is going to fall in love with the opposite gender.  We are all totally different human beings with an innate/preprogrammed agenda to be different so that our society functions more smoothly.  Not everyone can be happy all the time and you can only please half of the people some of the time.  In order to be happy, we have to create our own happiness.  If you wait for someone else to make you happy you could be waiting forever.  Even the Atheist shares this ideal.  Some think God/Goddess will do it for them.  To be certain, if I was trying to raise children to be grownups I wouldn’t hand them everything under the stars just because they want it.  That wouldn’t always benefit them, and I think that is why if you believe in such entities as a God/Goddess/gods/goddesses that they don’t give us everything.  It may seem cruel to leave someone without a limb, but for some insane reason it may have been done to make them stronger or even more humble. The cruelest thing might be was that it was done to humble those around the person to teach them that even the weak can be strong.

We as humans believe we have the right to stamp out and stomp on the rights of the individual or the few even when those views aren’t hurting anyone, which is exactly what is happening today with same sex couples.  I can understand if someone was getting hurt by allowing them the same rights as everyone else to get married or proclaim their eternal love infront of witnesses just as many lovers have done over the centuries and eons, but it doesn’t.  Marriage was brought about to announce to everyone that ws in the group or tribe that those two were a couple, that no one had the right to touch that person’s mate.  I can’t say that there was or wasn’t any samesex couples back in those days.  If there was, I’m certain that they had to be careful because bigotry, fear and hate usually got you killed.  We have become more civilised since, but our bigotry, fear and hate live on.  Intersexual/hermaphrodites have existed throughout the centuries.  People fear them, yet they know very little about them.

I do have to ask though, if you don’t have to have both male and female genders to be an intersexual, does that mean that gays and lesbians might be intersexuals that have been misclassified and identified??  It just makes me curious.  Scientist are still debating what classifies an intersexual.

Among the outward signs in a “male” are hypospadias, undescended testicles and abnormal breast development, in the “female” with this condition there is abnormal development of the clitoris. Normal spermato-genesis may occur close to an ovary in which ovulation takes place.”

As Our newly elected President (and I feel this is the obligation and duty of any and all elected Presidents of The United States of America), I expect Obama, to keep with the statutes of the Constitution and to protect us from our civil liberties being suppressed or taken from us. It is a shame that such an evil an unconstitutional law has been allowed in California as Proposition 8, which takes away special freedoms of a small group of people the same sex couples. A law was passed in California that gave same sex people the right to marry, and then California’s Proposition 8 took that right and civil liberty away.

In my government class I was taught that laws could not be passed that suppress other laws and personal freedoms. However, somehow this one has made it through the cracks.

The Constitution doesn’t discriminate, but people do. There is nothing immoral about love in any form. This country was built on freedom. So the majority of people who voted for Proposition 8are most likely not interested in seeing gays or lesbians marrying. That doesn’t mean it is right. There was already a law in effect that gave the right to marry to same sex couples. If I understood what was taught in government class, you can’t change a law to a point where it suppresses the rights and civil liberty more, but you can give more rights to the people. That would make proposition 8 an unconstitutional and unjust law that should never have made it to even the legislation in the first place, because it promoted and still promotes discrimination. I’m ashamed to be an American now. Discrimination doesn’t have to look like anything specific for it to be discrimination. Some Christians discriminate against witches. Some witches discriminate against Christians. Some men think that men are better than women. Some women believe women are better than men. This is still discrimination. No one is better than anyone else. Certain people have certain different skills. But they don’t have to be from any certain origin to have developed that certain trait. My father was an electrician. However, I couldn’t work on an electrical outlet if someone held a gun to my head. My dad had just as much knowledge about computers as I do being an electrician-none. However, I am very good at computers. Discrimination is basically verbal or physical assaults against ones race, ideas, or needs. It is the osterization of a group, race, Women weren’t allowed in the workforce because they were women and believed to belong in the home taking care of the house and kids. Now thanks to some amendments passed, you can’t discriminate against someone’s ideas, race, or gender.
Wait a minute.
You can’t discriminate against ideas or gender. Well these peoples’ ideas are being held back and suppressed. They believed they had the right to marry. They are being discriminated against based on gender because same sex marriage is said to be taboo. Two men, or two women wanting to be together? “What a terrible idea” “How horrendous.”  How disgusting.” the straights say. Gender with gender? Idea of love with one another of the same sex? No one liked the witches because their ideas didn’t coincide with everyone else’s, but you can’t take away their rights because they are witches. What makes this so different? They aren’t witches I’ve been told. So they aren’t. They are a minority. They have a right to be with who ever however they want. No one should be able to tell them that it isn’t right for them to marry, but we have. We have declared it illegal. The American citizens are all hypocrites. They want their rights, their civil liberties and freedom, but when one minority is so different them–it scares them to see them together, they deny them what makes them unique. They deny this specific minority, the same sex couples, their civil liberties, their rights, and what was believed to be their personal freedom of choice.

Right now, same sex couples are a minority because they are gravely overpowered. They are different, and no one wants to give them what is due to them.

You as a heterosexual are not forced to act out your desires for your significant other, but you do so. If the tides were turned, you wouldn’t be to happy about fighting for your right to be with someone of the opposite sex, but this is what same sex couples are being asked as a minority to do, by forcing same sex couples to give up their rights as unique individuals.

What if you couldn’t marry unless the government issued you a test of compatibility an other oddessies or even have kids till you took parenting classes and passed the test for that and you also had to file for a license before you could have the kid. Although, I have to admit, the idea of parenting classes and parenting license to be allowed in having kids wouldn’t be so bad I think, but it definatly takes away from the freedom that you had, and makes our system much less democratic and more of a communistic environment in my ideas. Sufficed to say none of us would agree with having that specific civil liberty taken from us. However it would make parenting a little safer for the kids and we would probably have fewer parents.

Do you see how easy it is to twist and turn things to look better or worse than what it is. By making same sex marriage illegal, you have made it right to condemn an entire minority not on, physical appearance, mental or physical handicaps, but because it doesn’t fit the idea of what is right. If it caused mental problems for these people I would support it, but it doesn’t. If it caused physical problems I would support it, but it doesn’t.  However it causes quite a few mental problems denying their natural desires that they have for a same sex relationship.  How?  They suffer from depression, suicidal tendencies, and more.

From what I have read in prior history all the way up to date, no one knows were STD’s come from. But it is more wide spread, due to the fact people have become infatuated with the idea of having more than one partner in their lifetimes. Women and men are more than willing to encourage one-night stands. Heterosexuals or Homosexuals, it doesn’t matter, people have become far more promiscuous than they should be. Dating is great, but what happened to the old idea of no kissy kissy till I know more about you?  How many of you bother asking the person you bedded for that one night stand if he/she had an STD? I doubt any of you have. You might say you did, but did you really?

Now we come back to same sex relationships. They are getting the bad end of the stick, because everyone must have a fall guy. Guess who is to blame for STD’s. Even people who say they are atheist refer to the bible saying that it is wrong. Get with the program. Are they atheist or are they religious? If you are atheist, please stay away from religious doctrine to explain why something is immoral, except to use it as a historical reference of some kind.  After all Christ did exist. It has been proven.  However, people do have the habit to make people that they worship or idealize out to be larger than life sometimes.   Whether this man did what is said or not, I can’t say–I wasn’t there amd neither was any human that lives today.  All we have is books and literature and stories handed down from generation to generation.  The books from different religions can’t agree on anything but they all speak of peace and harmony in one fashion or another somewhere in the texts.  As for word of mouth and tales, I have to say, do you remember the story about the one that got away?

It is pointless to say you don’t believe in god/goddess/whatever unless you really don’t and aren’t referencing someone’s ideals as a reason why you believe or don’t believe in something.  Try using facts–facts with a control group for crying out loud.  There is no control group for using just the Christian bible, as proof there is not God or entity to which people pray.  Believe or don’t.  Do not judge others because you believe differently than they do.  Maybe they are right.  Maybe you are right.  What if you both are correct in your beliefs because, who knows, maybe you are praying to the exact same deity and don’t even realize it and this is the way the deity wanted it for those two different individuals to see if they could work out their differences without the judging, the hate, the fighting, and the bigotry.  Get over yourselves.  Your ideas aren’t the only ones on this earth and they won’t be the last views either.  Even if you snuff out one flame of a different opinion another will spark and another.

My favorite is the Athiest who says thereis no God because amputies can’t grow back limbs or because they have found links to prove evolution.  So what if they have.  I actually myself believe as a Universalist that evolution was probably the plan of the God/Goddess/The Creator of All Life.  I believe that it wants us to learn how to help each other to become better, stronger, and less likely to murder each other because of differences we have.  The amputy certainly doesn’t deserve the los of the limb, but maybe the God/Goddes/The Creator of All Life hopes that the amputy learns humbleness and helps in humbling his/her fellow man/woman/hermaphrodite.  Or here is a thought, crazy as it may be, Maybe we are a lab experiment and the creator has wiped his chart clean of us or we are still running the hamster wheel and through the maze for it.

People have opressed and murdered each other for centuries. The Christians murdered pagans for years for believing differently and now are facing the same atrocities that they put the pagans through.  Not all murdered them, just like they had the underground for escaped slaves, some Christian sympathizers had the underground escape routes for the Witch that fled persecution, otherwise even more Witches, Wiccan, and other Pagans would have been murdered mercilessly at the hands of religious fanatics.  I feel bad for them (the fanatics).  The say they know The Divine, but do they really?  No culture, race or religion should undergo such stupid forms of bigotry, prejudice, and hate, but they do.  Humans can be so evil.

I can actually understand why some people are SCARED of same sex relationships, but they were also scared of interracial marriages, Witches, Jews, Atheists, the mentally handicapable, etc. The list goes on. Not all of which you could point a finger at and say that is a minority because they look different, because not all minorities look different.

Women don’t need a man to make children, although they do need his sperm. The guy could be gay and donate his sperm so that he can reproduce. By using the Frozen Papa method, you are actually taking away from the norm, because it is normally two people making love (sometimes there isn’t much love these days in the love making) in the producing of the child, not mommy lying on the medical bed having it artificially placed into her so she doesn’t have to have anything to do with the physical contact of a man.

Single mothers don’t necessarily have to stay home any more. Lot of women, whether they are Lesbian or Straight, have babysitters and/or childcare facilities that they can rely on to care for their child/ren.

When Lesbians choose to take care of a child, it obviously would be a woman taking care of the household. The best part of that is she doesn’t have to put up with the father of the kid if she doesn’t want to.  (That may not be a comment that some people want to hear, but not all women want to share their kid with a guy and I don’t think that they should have to if they don’t want to…  I also don’t think the guy need to be associated with the family if that was what the two parties regardless of those who fight for normalcy agreed upon.  They are just too straight and narrow minded to think outside the box anyway.  “Sorry but that is my opinion and only an opinion–like it or lump it.”

However, what if she is lesbian (or straight woman who doesn’t want a relationship but does want a kid) and wants the father involved? Then she can easily arrange that too. She and the possible father only need to make the necessary arrangements with a doctor for him to leave his donation there for her and her alone if he wants. Not only that, but they have to make out the documents and forms for visitation rights, and so forth like a regular divorced family without all the hostility.

Still, there is nothing normal about the frozen papa routine.

Once you choose to have a kid, whether you are a guy or gal, I believe that you have chosen to slow down, and not go out as much as you used too. You are normally supposed to devote your time to the raising of this child in spite of whether there is a father or mother around to help. This is the norm people are talking about, but you don’t have to be part of a same sex relationship or opposite sex relationship to understand that.  There are feminine females and male-ish females just like there is feminine males and male-ish males in the in the same sex relationship.  Relationships work the same way for same sex couples except for the fact that the couples are of the same sex instead of the opposite sex.  The feminine male is usually attracted to the more masculine male in the same sex relationships and vice verse, just like the feminine female is usually attracted to the more masculine female in the same sex relationships. Each party has certain things they prefer that strikes there fancy just like in straight relationships, except it is same sex couples, like (looks, appearance, smells, etc.)  That is just how it is I think.

It is my opinion that by not allowing same sex marriage to exist, people who support opposite sex relationships are hoping to suppress same sex relationships just like they tried to suppress interracial marriages, and thus that they will eventually go away. It was a futile effort when they tried this with banning interracial marriages, and it won’t work now. Seeing how same sex partnerships serves the same function as being married, are they not breaking the law still? Gay partnership basically serves the same function as marriage people keep saying.  People just do not want it brought to their attention, but what right is it of these people to stop something that comes so naturally to these other people. It isn’t any of the straight peoples business any more than it is any one else’s business that the straight person gets married.  Personally, I don’t believe in marriage even though I support anyone’s right to get married if they choose fit to do so.  More people get divorced than stay married ruining many people’s lives and relationships that had been created through this union.  The bond between husband and wife wasn’t the only one made sometimes.  Sometimes the two entire families bond into one whole family.  So when the divorce happens then the entire family is ripped into two separate families again. The children feel conflicted and become afraid that the divorce was their fault, that mommy and daddy don’t love them any more just because they stopped loving each other.   What is the point of marriage in the first place if we just get divorced eventually anyway.  So why not everyone forget about marriage altogether and just live together, it is the same thing isn’t it? I don’t really want people to stop getting married, but I was hoping that by using this as part of my argument, that you would understand the feelings behind the saying the vows. By saying your vows in front of people you know the magic that these same sex couples felt when they were allowed that same right and freedom. I believe it was the same magic in the air as when opposite sex couples feel when they say their vows.

How dare people take that feeling, that right, that freedom from people who aren’t exactly like them, just because they can’t accept that change is all around them, and things aren’t going to stop changing, just because it doesn’t seem normal to them. For same sex couples it feels as normal and as right as an opposite sex couple holding that special someone close and telling them that they will love them forever, and then proclaiming it in front of countless others. As far as I’m concerned the idea of normal was shattered way before some opposite sex couples were even a thought in someone’s head.

I have to wonder what other civil liberties are going to be next. I have to wonder whose freedom and rights are next on the list to abolish?  Who’s personal freedom are we going to steal next?  Who’s hope are we going to crush?  Whose heart are we going to break, shatter, smash, and obliterate?

I am Reverand Katie Lee Conner with the Universal Life Church (ULC).
The Universal Life Church has only two tenets:
To promote freedom of religion
To do that which is right.

My specific church is found online. I hope to raise funds to build an actual church itself, but that takes lots of willing people to help.

The church itself is based completely on Relgious Freedom. Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Wiccans,Shamans and a variety of other traditions. So long as you & they harm none, all are welcome in our church.

For my online church I have Religous E-Books which are found in the Files area, on the left column. I’m trying to get one for each faith. PLEASE TAKE RELIGIOUS SLANDER AND SNAKEBITING OUTSIDE. It is a tabbooo here. We are here to learn from each other. Bigotry and hate is not acceptable here.
For anyone who doesn’t know, wiccans and witches aren’t exactly the same thing.

I wasn’t here when whatever/whoever he/she/it created all things. So I don’t believe I possess the right to say which religious idea is right or wrong, and I don’t think any of you were either. So unless you were, why don’t we share our views instead of passing judgement. That which created all things will handle passing judgement. I just don’t want to be on his/her/its bad side when judgement is passed. Do you? This is not an area for Christian telling a Witch that their path is wrong or vice versa. Our belief system is based on that, as long as your path harms none (including yourself), mentally, physically, spiritually, and does not violate anyone else’s right to religious freedom, it is a good and valid path.

My church is not a church of bricks mortar and stone but, as I believe God intended, of the people helping the people and getting together to speak of his/her/its glory.
